During the first meetings with the clients, we read between lines to conclude that the our clients were looking for neutral spaces and luminous feel.
The main challenge to overcome was how to convert a small apartment with very limited storage space into a comfortable home for a couple with three children and all the storage they required.
To meet all these requirements, we created a clean design concept based on:
- Light tones in walls and pavements: Combining the same colour in different finishes and materials, such as white lacquered wood wardrobes and matt white partitions. By this, we achieved uniformity without giving up personality.
- Partitions cladded in chestnut wood with colourless matt varnish, to diversify the range of colours, differentiation of spaces and favour orientation.
- Furniture with simple lines and horizontal design, to give the sensation of wide spaces.
- Extra storage space over the bedrooms' access doors.
- Folding partitions, to give versatility to interior spaces whilst allowing spaces to grow in size according to need.
- Linear lighting, providing depth to the spaces.
