Adrián Río Lado

Architect & Founder of Datum

Adrián graduated from the Escola Técnica Superior de Arquitectura da Coruña (Universidade da Coruña) in 2013, and received a Masters of Science in Sustainable Architecture Studies with Distinction from the Sheffield School of Architecture (University of Sheffield) in 2015.

He has an interest in efficient and affordable buildings through sustainability, where design is approached from a holistic view.

Before founding Datum Arquitectura, Adrián worked for the award winning practice Carlos Seoane Arquitectura in Galicia, and Jofre Roca Arquitectes in Barcelona. Additionally, he worked for Building Design Partnership in the UK, on R&D, healthcare, workplace buildings and retail projects.

When Adrián is not designing or at the construction site, he is likely to be taking care of fruit trees or walking his dog Morita.
